Schwab Enterprise

Concept
Schwab Enterprise, which used to be a hedge fund prior to their merger with Heidrick & Struggles, requested a logo design. They used to be a company that dealt with the bear vs. bull market industry. The logo visualizes the interplay between these two animals with the use of negative and positive space.

Hindsight
After brushing the digital dust off this file from 2005, I understand why this logo didn't fulfill what the bear vs. bull market represented.  With some "extensive research" (Google), I found the following excerpt from Yahoo's Answer pages: The "bear" market is synonymous with a market that is going down. A "bull" market means that the market is going up. It comes from the early days of the stock market when bull and bear fights were common.

Perhaps the bull should of have pointed upwards and the bear downwards?
