NYSC Campaign Concept
Friday, 28 December 2007

It was late at night and I was walking down a dark side street heading towards Penn Station (NYC) when all of a sudden, an idea hit me. It was an idea for NYSC promoting the (superhuman) strengths gained by working out and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Perhaps it was me walking faster than normal to avoid being mugged that triggered the idea. The poster below was my first attempt to visualize this idea. To turn this idea into a concept, I came up with other ideas like "jay-jumping" (crossing the street by jumping over traffic).

The main concept was to build a list of (below misdemeanor) violations and have members of NYSC committing them. In order to build a stronger relation between the campaign and NYC dwellers, the types of violations involved would be commonplace to the city.
