| Auto Hashing in Twitter? |

Not everyone uses hash tags whenever they post a tweet. From my own experience, I don't tag my tweets because I'm lazy. Hash tags quickly inform users about any 140 character or less message. It also makes content more searchable and discoverable based on these tags. So to perhaps make tweets a little more relevant, what if Twitter implemented an auto hash tag feature that allows users to tag their tweets based on the top 3 most relevant tags found on Twitter? Below is a rough flow diagram of how it would work (based on the Tweetie interface). ![]() A rough flow diagram of how the auto hash tagging feature might work Powered by !JoomlaComment 3.12 Copyright (C) 2007 Alain Georgette / Copyright (C) 2006 Frantisek Hliva.
