Sketching the Dongle

In the upper right corner of the whiteboard wall, you'll notice a half-pilled shape drawing of a device, which we've called the Dongle. The Dongle is a device that keeps track of our short term tasks that need to be accomplished in order to achieve long term goals.

Concept Mapping with Post-Its

After bringing in our physical materials from the first class, we were split up into groups based on what we wanted to achieve with our first prototypes. I joined Kristin Gräefe, Russ Maschmeyer, and Evinn Quinn for the duration of the semester in researching, ideating, prototyping, and creating a unique device that will serve to keep people mindful and aware of their surroundings.

Prototyping the To-Do Bracelet

For our first assignment in Prototyping User Experiences class, featuring the guys from Frog Design, we were to bring in a sample of a physical material that we were drawn to in both touch and feel. This and the remaining prototypes that follow would all fall under the topic of awareness/mindfulness.
